REACH&Colours was born in 2008 from the need to support those companies required to comply with the REACH Regulation, but not structured and equipped to fulfil its obligations.

Just like madeincolours, REACH&Colours, following the logic of association of business, answered to a widespread need in the industry which threatened the survival of several companies: joining the forces of different realities, often in competition, to pursue a common benefit.

REACH&Colours contracted bilateral agreements with each company and developed a plan to divide and defer the registrations work and costs. In this way it made costs for REACH registration affordable/sustainable for all affiliates.

The initiative REACH&Colours allowed many of their members not only to avoid the closure, but also to find the incentive and the resources to restart.
